Music

Beginning Thursday evening at 5:15 pm and running through around 10:30 pm on Sunday, each festival features twenty-one acts on the main stage. There’s also special Workshop shows on Friday and Saturday by main stage performers, intimate shows at Amy’s Orchid Café on Friday and Saturday nights (tickets purchased separately) and a "Revival" show at beautiful Birch Lake on Sunday morning. In addition, performers are booked specifically to play for children at the Strawberry Kids’ Program. The performers booked for each festival are varied but you can always count on a wide range of musical acts representing many different musical genres. At Strawberry you’ll enjoy acts including Americana, bluegrass, blues, folk, swing, rock, Cajun, Celtic and gospel. You will find a list of the acts for the current year's festivals, as well as a link to previous performers on the Performers page.

Activities

In addition to all of the fabulous music, Strawberry has so many activities to keep you and your family jammin’ (literally and figuratively) we can’t do justice to them all. But, to give you some idea, three full days of Programming for Children (of all ages) and adults takes place at beautiful Birch Lake. Arts and Crafts, Story Telling, nature walking, instrument workshops, Movement Workshops, Watercolor and other Art Workshops and so much more are all part of the Strawberry experience. Check out the Gate Handout from a recent festival to get a better idea of the wide range of activities that are offered. There are also tennis courts, a volleyball pit and a basketball court available during both festivals and a swimming pool and horse back riding concession available during the Fall. To take it over the top, hundreds of Informal Jams materialize throughout the Strawberry weekend. During the evening campers wander the roads that wind through camp in search of friends, fun and spectacular camp jams, finding their way by the location of the many well-decorated landmark Camps. If you’re a picker, be sure to bring your instrument so you can be part of a Strawberry Jam!.
